The first meeting of 2024 of The Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Society takes place at the Henderson Hall tomorrow evening.

Their annual bumper magazine is selling fast, with only a few left. Some of the early ones have now become collector’s items and are for sale on eBay.

“This is a credit to our group, so let’s see a good turnout on Monday night as we want to discuss what we will do for 2024,” a spokesperson for the group said.

“If anyone wants to make an input into our discussions, please come along – you will be more than welcome and have a cup of tea after.”

Membership of this group is rising  all the time, so if you are interested in local history, come and join us.

Meetings and talks take place on the fourth Monday of the month.

The next meeting is at 7.30pm in The Henderson Hall, Stranorlar, opposite the Church of Ireland and behind Robertson National School (F93 XV29).

For further information on the society, and updates, go to their Facebook page or email bsadhs@gmail.com
