Former Glenswilly manager Pauric Bonner has been appointed as the manage of the Killybegs senior team.

Bonner stepped down from his role as manager of Glenswilly at the end of last year after three seasons at the helm.

The bank official told Donegal Daily that he is really looking forward to the 2024 season with Killybegs and is relishing the challenge.

Killybegs finished in the bottom four of the 2023 Senior Championship.

However, they defeated St Nauls in a relegation semi-final play-off to secure their Senior Championship status for this season.

Gary McDaid has replaced Bonner at the helm at Glenswilly.
