Letterkenny man to be laid to rest this week following sad passing in London

Aiden Garvin, formerly of “Mulroy”, Glencar Road will be laid to rest in his hometown of Letterkenny tomorrow.

Aiden passed suddenly in London on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023.

His remains have been brought back to Donegal for repose at his sister Mary’s residence, 32, Meadow Hill, Kiltoy, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (Eircode F92 TFP9) on Tuesday, 23rd January from 2 pm to 7.30 pm.

Removal from there at 10 am on Wednesday, 24th January, going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am funeral Mass which can be viewed live on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny Private cremation on Thursday 25th January at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Aiden is predeceased by his parents Tom and Una. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his partner Caron, London; sister Anne (Tim), Galway; brothers Declan, Dublin; Kevin, (Deirdre), Dublin; and sister Mary, Letterkenny; nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and his wide circle of friends in Donegal, London and beyond.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Rd., Letterkenny.
