Gardai have arrested a man following the spate of thefts from vehicles across the county over the weekend.
There were robberies from cars in Convoy, Raphoe and Castlefin.
As part of this investigation Gardaí have conducted a search of a premises within the Letterkenny district this morning (Tuesday).
Further to the search, a male in his30’s has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Co. Donegal area under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí are issuing a renewed appeal for information, to anyone who may have witnessed any unusual activity or vehicles in the Convoy, Raphoe and Castlefin, Co. Donegal areas over the weekend of Friday 19th – Sunday 21st January 2024.
