Job Vacancy: Experienced car valeter opportunity in Letterkenny

Job Vacancy: A well-established garage in Letterkenny, Co Donegal has an opportunity for an experienced Car Valeter to join the team.

You will be responsible for the preparation of vehicles to a high standard both inside and out and therefore be fully skilled in all aspects of vehicle washing and preparation to a showroom standard. You will also be required to move vehicles in a careful and efficient manner therefore a full valid driving licence is required.

Main duties & requirements will be:

• Providing a high level of service to our Sales and Service Department
• Preparing vehicles to an excellent standard
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Strong Attention to detail
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
• Demonstrating an understanding of safety procedures and manufacturers’ instructions/warnings for different cleaning chemicals.
• Working as a team member
• Good oral communication & time management
• The ability to take direction
• Other duties as required within the department
• Permanent employment Mon-Fri 9-5.30
