A man aged in his 70s has died following a fatal road traffic collision in County Roscommon.
The single-vehicle crash took place yesterday afternoon shortly before 2pm, with Gardaí saying the accident took place on a small local road near Frenchpark in the county.
The man was transferred to Sligo University Hospital but later died of his injuries.
Garda forensic officers have preserved the scene for examination, and anyone who witnessed the incident has been asked to come forward.
