Garda appeal after women stole trolley full of goods from shop

Gardaí are appealing for the assistance of the public after a trolley full of goods was stolen from a well-known Letterkenny supermarket.

The incident occurred at Simpsons on the Circular Road on Sunday evening. 

Two women entered the shop and proceeded to fill a trolley with goods

before leaving without paying for them. They made their escape in a red Skoda jeep. 

“We are appealing to road users (who have a dash cam) who were in the

Glencar/Circular Road area of Letterkenny on Sunday between 4pm and 4.30pm to make

the footage available to us,” Garda Clare Rafferty said.
