Gardaí are appealing for information after a chainsaw was stolen from the rear of a home in Culdaff.

The orange Husqvarna petrol chainsaw was taken during the burglary that

occurred in the area of Croragh, sometime between 2.30am on Monday, January 22, and 6pm on Thursday the 25th. A shed at a house was entered at that location. The shed had an open front and so no damage was caused.

“We are interested in speaking to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between the dates given,” Garda Clare Rafferty said.

Gardaí in Buncrana may be contacted on 074-9320540. The Garda Confidential Line may also be reached on 1800 666 111.
