New speed ramps are to be installed on the busy Leck Road in Letterkenny this week.
Donegal Council Council confirmed the work will start tomorrow, weather permitting, and last for a week.
The move comes following several years of campaigning by local residents and councilors over concerns about speeding.
Traffic management will be in place for single lane traffic and diversions are possible.
