A building in Dublin that had been rumoured to be used for refugee accommodation has been set alight.
It’s the latest in a number of attacks nationwide on buildings that had been rumoured within local communities to be used to house international protection applicants.
Protests had taken place earlier in the week outside the property, which according to the Irish Times is a former nursing home.
Dublin Fire Brigade say they attended the scene of the blaze at Crooksling at 7am this morning, with a total of seven fire engines having to attend the scene.
