Some of Donegal’s top wedding specialists and businesses have been honoured at the 6th Irish Wedding Awards 2024.

The black-tie ceremony took place on the 30th of January in Dublin, where the continued growth of the Irish wedding industry was celebrated.

The Irish Wedding Awards awards aim to recognise and reward those that work towards making their client’s big day as perfect as possible, including the caterers that provide delicious reception meals, decorators that take care of the wedding venues and add the glam in the room or florists that know how to make any wedding flourish.

The Donegal winners of the 6th Irish Wedding Awards 2024 include:

Wedding Hair & Make Up Salon of the Year (Overall Winner) – Shannon Dolan Hairdressing (Lifford)

Wedding Accessories Provider of the Year – Touch Of Venus Jewellery (Donegal)

Event Decorator of the Year – Highly Commended went to Grá Events Donegal (Letterkenny)

Wedding Photographer of the Year – Weddings By Stevie Toye Logopix (Letterkenny)

Groomswear Supplier of the Year – Mark 2 Menswear (Donegal)

Outstanding Wedding Supplier of the Year – Highly Commended went to Sinead Black Music (Donegal)

Speaking on his two-in-a-row win, Stevie Toye said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have been awarded Irish Wedding Photographer of the year for the second year in a row. To be recognised in an industry you love, makes it even more special. The people who have helped me get here are my bridal couples who took the time to nominate me and submit their kind words, for this, I am eternally grateful.

“I love what I do, and to be included in someone’s special day is a privilege that I will never take for granted. I cover weddings all over the country, and I love it. As a result of last year’s award, business is booming and I look forward to more years of success.”
