Raphoe business badly damaged during break-in

A business premises in east Donegal was badly damaged during a weekend break-in.

The incident occurred at Demesne, Raphoe, sometime between 8am and 8.30am last Friday. A business premises was entered after an office window was removed. This triggered the alarm.

However, the alarm was then smashed and a couple of doors within the premises were forced open but nothing was stolen. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area on Friday morning to make contact with Gardaí,” Sergeant Eunan Walsh said.

If anybody travelled in the area around that time who had a dash cam, they are asked to make contact with Letterkenny Gardaí on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
