Two women are to appear in court charged with stealing a trolley full of goods from a well-known Letterkenny supermarket.
The incident occurred at Simpsons on the Circular Road on Sunday, January 28.
Two women entered the shop and proceeded to fill a trolley with goods before leaving without paying for them.
Garda Sergeant Eunan Walsh confirmed today that two women have been arrested and are to appear in court shortly.
“Gardaí have since arrested two females and they have been charged to appear in
court. We would like to thank anybody who assisted in any way with the investigation,” Sgt Walsh said.
