The Arranmore RNLI boat this evening carried out a medivac from the island.
The operation took place around 7pm.
This was the third call in recent days for the local lifeboat crew.
It follows a marathon 26 hour rescue of a fishing vessel which started on Sunday evening.
Lifeboat coxswain Seán O’Donnell said “This was a quick call which we were pleased to respond to following our long service on Sunday, we are always ready to answer the call no matter what it is.’
The crew members on board were coxswain Seán O’Donnell, mechanic Philip Mc Cauley, Brian Proctor, Seamus Bonner, Sharon O’Donnell, Mickey Dubh Mc Hugh and Seán Sammy Gallagher.
