The Habinteg Housing Ireland CLG is an approved housing body and a not-for-profit charity providing quality homes to people in housing need.
The company, which is based in Lifford, has announced that they have gone to tender for the new units with a proposed construction commencement date of May 24.
Of a total of 34 homes, 10 are for sheltered housing, 10 are for people with intellectual disabilities and the remaining 14 will be general needs homes.
A spokesperson for Habinteg Housing Ireland CLG said “When completed this will bring 34 much needed, new housing units to the Finn Valley Area of Donegal.
“These homes will feature innovative design elements, energy efficient technologies, and high quality materials to ensure comfort, durability, and environmental responsibility for residents.
“We are excited to embark on this new venture which will contribute to the growth and development of the organisation and housing in the area.
“Our focus is not only on building houses but on creating homes where families can thrive and make lasting memories.”
The new homes will offer a range of floor plans to accommodate the various lifestyles and preferences.
The organisation added that each home has been thoughtfully designed to maximise space utilisation and natural light, providing a welcoming and functional living environment.
Construction of the homes is expected to be completed by December 2025.
