Fundraising drive launched to help family of loving Donegal dad

A fundraising campaign has been set up to help support the family of a popular Donegal town man who died suddenly last month.

Stephen Love passed away on January 10, leaving behind his loving wife, Glenda, and their two young girls.

He had just finished his work that day and before going home called in for his daily chats to his brothers. This, however, was the final moments of Stephen’s life; he never made it home.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by his friend, Frank Cassidy.

“So many people have been wanting to help Glenda and their girls at this heart breaking time, so I feel this is the best way for people to help with any unexpected expenses that Glenda now has to face alone for her girls’ future without Stephen by her side,” he said.

“As one of Stephen’s very close friends, I would appreciate any help at all, even if it’s not in the form of a donation, thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated for Glenda and her girls during this heartbreaking time.”
