Donegal 0-19 v 2-20 Derry

Donegal were closely defeated by North West rivals Derry in their Round 2 National Hurling League contest in Letterkenny this afternoon.

Both sides traded scores throughout the first half, with the score being even at the break, 0-12 to 1-09.

Derry came out of half-time with a run of scores, while Donegal only put over three points in 25 minutes as the game reached the hour mark.

Donegal rallied with a number of scores in the final moments, but a second Derry goal put their North West rivals to the sword after a comprehensive second half performance.
