National: Man, 20s, dies after collision with lorry

A man in his 20s has died following a collision with a lorry according to Gardaí.

The accident took place last night at approximately 9:30pm last night on the N2 road, at Knavinstown, County Meath.

Gardaí say the male pedestrian was struck by the lorry, and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was unharmed in the incident.

A technical examination of the scene has taken place, and Gardaí have appealed to witnesses of the collision to come forward.
