St Eunans of Raphoe have clinched the Letterkenny Cup Final for the second successive year.

Letterkenny Community Centre played host to the final and once again it was the Raphoe team who managed to do enough against a very spirited Scoil Mhuire from Milford

The game was played in blustery conditions but this did not stop the two teams serving up a treat for the travelling fans.

The game began and a cagey affair opened up when a fantastic move was finished by Lewis Quinn and St Eunans took the lead.

Scoil Mhuire would not be deterred though and came roaring back into the game with a long range free kick from their Goal Keeper Jake Morgan. The first half ended 1-1.

St Eunans Raphoe took the lead again when Jayden Laird finished to the neat with a fantastic backheel.

Once again the Milford keeper scored from a long range free kick and the game remained 2-2 until the final 10 minutes.

Goals from Lewis Quinn and Jayme Lafferty from the spot, after Lewis Quinn had been taken down sealed the win for the boys from Raphoe. J

Jayme Lafferty the St Eunans Captain received the trophy from the referee and the celebrations began.

It was just reward for Raphoe who had gone through the competition having played six games and winning all six.

The Letterkenny Cup returns to Raphoe for another year.

St Eunans Raphoe: Adam Gibson, Conor Farrell, Jaime Hastings, Riley McBride, Lewis Hamilton, Zach Lecky, Jack Barr, Jayme Lafferty, Lewis Quinn, Jaydan Laird, Conor McCrory, Lorcan Page, Danny McMonagle, Cody McDermott, Conor Meehan, Fergal Krishnan and Zac Reynolds.
