Black ice is being reported in some areas of Donegal this morning and road users are advised to be cautious.
Roads and footpaths around Letterkenny are slippy, while road surface temperatures are close to zero countywide, as of 7.30am.
Meanwhile, Met Éireann says it will be a dry day across Ulster with frost in places at first.
Cloud and rain will spread northwards this afternoon and evening. But northern counties will stay dry all day. Highest temperatures of 7 or 8 degrees with light to moderate east to southeast breezes.
