Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle crash outside Lifford.

The collision, involving a van and a car, took place at around 9am on the main Letterkenny road, at Drumbuoy.

“No major injuries have been reported. No further information is available at this time,” a garda spokesperson said.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Last night, a young man was hospitalised following a single vehicle crash on the same road.

Gardaí are investigating the collision that occurred at approximately 9pm between Rossgier and Porthall.

“A man in his 20s suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment,” a garda spokesperson said.
