Today will see some brighter spells – and a mix of damper conditions.
Met Éireann say that while cloud and scattered showers will dominate this morning, this afternoon will see a clearing to some brighter conditions for a time.
Highest temperatures will reach between 11 and 13 degrees today.
However, later this evening and tonight a band of rain will come in from the Atlantic, leading to a mix of rain and clear conditions overnight.
Lowest temperatures tonight between 5 and 7 degrees celsius.
