Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver early this morning on suspicion of drug driving.

The driver had tested positive for cocaine.

“Never get behind the wheel of any vehicle while you are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol,” a garda spokesperson said.

“One poor decision in relation to road safety could have devastating/life altering consequences for you and/or other road users. Please help save lives by always making responsible decisions when it comes to road safety.”
