Gardaí are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in Raphoe.

The incident occurred at Guesthouse End between 10pm on Saturday and 1.15am on Sunday morning.

A number of windows at the front of the house, and the glass in the front door, were smashed before entry was gained.

A number of belongings were also smashed within the property and a 43 inch LG TV was stolen.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area between those hours to make contact with us,” Garda Sean Sweeney said.

If anybody travelled in that area with a dash cam between those times, they are also asked to make the footage available to Gardaí. Letterkenny Garda Station can be contacted  on 074-9167100 or the Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
