Curry Cottage in Stranorlar is on a roll – Manager Raju Ahmed has been named Donegal’s Best Restaurant Manager at the 2024 Highland Radio Hospitality Awards!

This up-and-coming Indian restaurant has already captured the hearts (and tastebuds) of locals to be crowned Best Restaurant in Ballybofey-Stranorlar and listed as a top recommended restaurant on the Restaurant Guru website. The restaurant has also won Best Newcomer in the Irish Restaurant Awards Ulster final.

This latest accolade is a testament to the dedication to service at Curry Cottage, owned by brothers Raj and Jony from Bangladesh.

“It’s not just me,” says Raj. He credits his success to the entire team at Curry Cottage, who work tirelessly to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

“I pride myself on prioritising customer service, and that means getting to know each guest and personally engaging with them throughout their experience. From the moment they walk through the door, they are warmly welcomed. And because we have a large menu of Indian cuisine, we like to take time to explain dishes to help people pick the perfect dish for their taste.”

The Valentine’s special menu continues at Curry Cottage until 25th February. For only €55.95 for two people, enjoy a three course meal, plus a glass of wine or beer per person.

Curry Cottage is where quality meets value. Raj says: “Everyone talks about the fact that we’re very affordable. Our special sit-in menu offers two courses for just €19.50, so you can experience next-level food without breaking the bank.

Whether it’s a special occasion or just a mid-week treat, Curry Cottage provides a comfortable and inviting space for all. A full vegetarian menu is available.

Make your reservation today by calling 0749175663.
