Fawlty Towers trio serves up comedy chaos at the Shandon Hotel!

It was a dining experience like no other last night as The Shandon Hotel & Spa welcomed three new employees – to disastrous results!

Basil, Sybil and Manuel from the famous Fawlty Towers sitcom were in action for one night only, singing, dancing and spilling soup!

As guests dined on a three-course feast, the trio served up mayhem on a plate! Rats were rife, Fawlty raps were sung and poor Sybil gave up and took to the gin. Between Basil’s blunders, Sybil’s sips, Manuel’s mishaps, it was a delightful disaster.

No one was safe from the bawdy jokes, so there was no choice but to join the craic (and join the conga line around the room for the finale).

A Faulty Towers Live Dinner Experience at the Shandon Hotel

It was a brilliant night of immersive comedy and hospitality chaos and one of many great nights of entertainment at the Shandon Hotel.

There’s much more coming up this weekend – don’t miss Sailor Bill band and Chelsea Evans tonight, Saturday (tickets €15, can be purchased at the door) and Miranda Rosenberg’s Self Confidence workshop and afternoon tea takes place on Sunday 25th.

Stay tuned to the Shandon Hotel social media and www.shandonhotelspa.com/events to ensure you don’t miss any other events – thankfully run by the stellar Shandon team, and not the Fawltys!
