Today is expected to be mostly bright – despite a colder start.

Met Éireann say that any ice and frost that may have been on the ground overnight will clear this morning, leading to a mostly bright day across Ulster.

The national forecaster says today will be dry and sunny for the majority of the time, with a chance of intermittent showers as well.

Highest temperatures will be between 7 and 9 degrees today.

Things will get colder this evening, with thick cloud and temperatures dipping to between 0 and 3 degrees tonight.
