Letterkenny-based Tom Giblin’s festive fundraising efforts have proven to be a tremendous success again, with a grand total of €4,471 raised for 16 different charities.

Tom, who is known for his love of miniature farm animals, opened his mini farm at Lisnenan to families to enjoy a live nativity. Visitors could admire a festive scene alongside mini pigs, a mini donkey and foal, a mini pony, a selection of mini goats, a few hens, and a rooster.

Additionally, a captivating Christmas Lights garden adorned with various themes such as Nativity scenes, Santa Claus, snowscapes, and teddy bears added to the festive cheer.

Through platforms like I Donate, Revolut, and on-site bucket collections, Tom was able to gather a total of €4,471 for the following beneficiaries:

St Vincent De Paul Letterkenny
Childrens Hospital Crumlin/Temple Street
Peita House North West
Jack & Jill Foundation
Little Blue Heroes
Irish Wheelchair Association
Bumbleance Donegal
MS Ireland / Donegal
Little Angels School
St. Bernadettes Special School
Donegal Hospice
Donegal Down Syndrome
Blue Stack Special Needs Foundation
Blood Bikes North West
Donegal Donkey Sanctuary
Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association

A presentation event was held at Arena 7 recently where Tom expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed in any way, including An Garda Siochana.

“Helping others make a difference and raising funds for good causes gives me a real boost and sense of fulfillment. It is a really good inner feeling,” Tom said.
