Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for ice tonight, as temperatures are expected to dip as low as -2 in some areas.
Motorists are being warned of hazardous road conditions tonight, with pedestrians being warned to take care on paths when out and about as well.
The status yellow warning is in effect from 8pm this Saturday night, and will remain in place until 9am on Sunday morning.
