Aspiring Killybegs group the Debonairs are set to play their biggest gigs yet when they take to the stage of the Helix for the Junk Kouture Regional Finals 2024.

The band was selected as the entertainment act for the Dublin event on 4th and 5th of March.

The Debonairs are Shay Rowan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Conor Gallagher (lead guitar), Brian Callaghan (drums) and Eamon Óg McHugh (bass).

Formed in 2023 by Shay Rowan, Conor Gallagher and Brian Callaghan for a school showcase performance, the boys have taken great ambition and continued to play together, playing gigs and festivals around their hometown.

Now, almost exactly a year on from their formation, the band will be playing the Helix in Dublin in this amazing opportunity to showcase their talent to a sold out venue.

Junk Kouture is well renowned for giving young people the opportunity to showcase their innovative minds and creative brilliance to thousands of people, and has been a huge success in Ireland since its creation in 2010 by CEO Troy Armour. Now, the fashion competition will not only allow students to showcase their talent for design but also give this young band an opportunity showcase their talent for music.
