Sinn Fein has recorded its lowest level of support in almost three years in today’s Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks opinion polls.

They are down 2 points on the previous poll to 27 percent, but still remain the largest party.

Meanwhile the two main Government parties have made slight gains, with Fine Gael up 1 to 20 percent support, and Fianna Fail also up 1 to 18 percent.

The Green Party have also seen a small bump up to 4 percent in the most recent polling.

Independent candidates and others stand at 17 percent, with the next highest party being the Social Democrats at 7 percent.

Meanwhile the Labour Party are polling at 4 percent, with both Solidarity/PBP and Aontu at 2 percent.
