Singing star Daniel O’Donnell has issued another plea to fans to beware of fake social media accounts.
A false account has been posting in Daniel O’Donnell fan groups, asking for fans to say hello.
“I feel so sad that my fans don’t want to say just HELLO to me. maybe nobody cares about me and my career,” the post says.
Some fans, unaware that it is not Daniel’s account, have been engaging with the posts.
Daniel has asked fans to: “Please be aware that this is a fake account and is nothing to do with Daniel’s official page. Please unfriend it and don’t message them back.”
One user said: “It’s such a shame that so many unscrupulous people have the audacity to pretend to be someone they aren’t to make friends and con people. There is only one official Daniel O’Donnell page with 287k followers.”
