Gardaí are investigating a group altercation and vandalism that occurred in Buncrana town in the early hours of Sunday last.
Gardaí received a call around 3am regarding an altercation taking place at Westend in Buncrana.
Upon arrival, gardaí found the area empty but observed damage to a business window.
Shortly after, a man contacted Gardaí claiming to be a victim of assault during the earlier altercation. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
A spokesperson said: ” We appeal to anybody who travelled in the area of Westend, Buncrana between 2.45am and 3.15am on Sunday the 3rd of March to make contact with us if they had a dash cam in their car or if they observed what occurred. Gardaí in Buncrana may be contacted on 074-9320540. “
