The local community in Crossroads and Killygordon got together last weekend to get Spring off to a cleaner start.
Despite the cold and rain, locals flocked to help clean up the villages and the surrounding area.
Across Saturday and Sunday, residents young and old donned their high-viz jackets and litter pickers.

Crossroads and Killygordon Enterprise (CAKE) say that they are planning a follow-up clean in April ahead of the Summer season, after the success at the weekend.

CAKE also are reminding the local community that they can collect pickers and bags from them at any time if they wish to organise their own clean.
The organisers also said they “would also like to thank the Finn Valley CE Scheme workers who keep the villages tidy on a regular basis and who did a wonderful job in Liscooley recently.”
