A Donegal-based group is looking to create a new, not-for-profit woodland in West Donegal.
Love Woodland carried out a similar successful tree-planting project in Bundoran last year, planting over 1,000 saplings on unused grounds owned by Magh Éne College with the help of local volunteers.
This weekend, March 9th and 10th, they’re looking to replicate that success in East Annagry with a new project.
Love Woodland will provide equipment like spades and gloves at the site – all any interested volunteers need to bring with them are some wellies, some water and a bite to eat!
Everyone young and old is welcome to come along and help – as long as they can use a spade, of course.
