Some of Donegal’s brightest young students took part in the Garda Schools Quiz last night.
Last night’s Divisional Final at the Mount Errigal Hotel had tons of support for the kids taking part, with their families and schoolmates in attendance to cheer them on.
St Naul’s NS from Inver took first place, and some well-earned plaques home with them.
Second place went to the quizzers from Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala in Donegal Town, with third place taken by Scoil Naomh Bríd, Downings.

On social media, An Garda Síochána Donegal thanked all of the kids for their effort, as well as the many sponsors that made the event possible.
“Thank you to everybody who took the time to come along to support the students taking part in the quiz. They have done themselves, their families and their schools very proud.”
“A final note of appreciation for our Sponsors – Donegal County Council represented by Ross Hannigan, Donegal Motor Club represented by Brian Brogan & John Crumlish and the Mount Errigal Hotel for providing the venue. Thank you as always to Louise Mc Keever from the RSA for all of her assistance and for creating such a fun atmosphere for the kids.”
