Donegal sheepdog handlers set for Four Nations Nursery Final

Donegal sheepdog handlers will be competing in the 4 Nations Nursery Sheepdog Finals this Saturday.

Bernard Hegarty (pictured) from Carrick is running Gyp and Brook in the event at Slindon House Farm Staffordshire. Bernard is a member of the North Of Ireland Sheepdog Society.

From the N.I. Sheepdog Handlers Association – Glenswilly’s James Pat McDaid will run Meg and Allistair Lyttle from Pettigo will run Aughafoy Lewis.

The 4 Nations Nursery Final features 10 of the finest dogs from each of the 4 Nations.

The North Of Ireland Sheepdog Society wishes Bernard and all the Irish competitors the very best of luck.
