Plans to revive the famous Biddy’s Bar in Glencolmcille have been approved.
Developers Corner Stone Associates made the announcement on social media that Donegal County Council had approved their ambitious plans to renew the site.
Alongside the re-development of the bar site, their plans also include adding a new restaurant, lounge and outdoor seated area to the facility.
Those are not the only changes to the site however, with further plans for a three-storey building next to the bar also being approved by the Council.
The “multi-purpose” building will include accomodation, as well as conference rooms and a local transport hub.
According to Corner Stone Associates, they plan to have the projects “ready for site” before the end of this year.
