Colaiste Ailigh welcome school group from ‘across the pond’

Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny has welcomed students from two St Louis, Missouri-based schools for the first leg of their exchange programme.

Students from St Joseph’s Girls Highschool and SLUH Boys Highschool arrived on Friday last after a long trip across the Atlantic.

The students were tired after their flight was delayed for ten hours because of mechanical difficulties in Dallas but nonetheless happy to be finally in Ireland.

The students, 13 in total, are staying with families in the school area along Jennifer Sudekum, Principal of St Josephs school and also librarian Jennifer Millikan.

The SLUH students are accompanied by Nicole Veighne and Jennifer Thomas.

The Colaiste Ailigh students are planning make the return trip after Easter.
