An appeal is underway after pieces of food were thrown at a home in Carndonagh.
Gardaí are appealing for information following the unusual incident of criminal damage that occurred in the Glassalts area last Friday, 8th March, at approximately 10:30 pm.
A resident of the area reported hearing loud bangs outside their home. Upon investigating the source of the noise, they discovered various foodstuffs had been thrown over the walls and doors of their house.
Gardaí are treating this incident as criminal damage and are seeking assistance from the public.
“We appeal to other residents and road users in the area to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540 if they observed any suspicious activity/vehicles in the area that night,” a spokesperson said.
