Witness appeal after assault and criminal damage in Letterkenny

Gardaí are investigating a combined incident of criminal damage and assault that occurred in the Newbrook Court area of Letterkenny in the early hours of Wednesday, March 6th, at approximately 2:15 am.

Details surrounding the specific nature of the assault and criminal damage are not currently available.

“We are particularly interested in any sightings or dash cam footage of two males on foot in the area,” a Garda spokesperson stated.

Gardaí are urging anyone who may have been travelling in the Newbrook Court area around the time of the incident, and who has dashcam footage, to come forward.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 0749167100. Information can also be provided anonymously on the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
