Two people were seriously injured following a crash on the outskirts of Letterkenny last night.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the three-vehicle collision on the N56 at Illistrin at around 10pm.

“A man (20s) and a woman (60s) were brought to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for what are believed to be serious but not life-threatening injuries,” a garda spokesperson said.
