Harps v Wexford clash to go ahead after pitch inspection

Tonight’s clash between Wexford and Finn Harps will go ahead as scheduled following a pitch inspection.

There were fears that the Ferrycarrig Park playing surface would be waterlogged following heavy rain in the south east.

However, it passed an inspection this morning.

“We are delighted to confirm that the pitch has passed inspection and tonight’s game is going ahead,” a spokesperson for the club said.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and Darren Murphy’s charges are hoping to get back to winning ways after a disappointing 0-1 home defeat to Cobh Ramblers last weekend.
