Mostly wet start to St Patrick’s Day weekend – Met Èireann

It will be a mostly dull and damp start to the St Patrick’s weekend celebrations in Donegal.

Met Èireann say that it will be a mostly cloudy and wet day today, Saturday.

There will be outbreaks of rain and drizzle across today, with some drier periods in the afternoon.

Highest temperatures will be between 9 and 13 degrees.

There will be clear spells overnight, but some showers will come in towards dawn on Sunday morning. Temperatures between 7 and 10 degrees overnight tonight.
