Donegal Gardaí say two drivers were caught within a matter of minutes at a checkpoint in Letterkenny yesterday evening.
A learner driver who was pulled over at a mandatory intoxicant checkpoint failed an oral drugs test, testing positive for cannabis.
As Gardaí were processing this driver, they say they noticed another vehicle that approached the checkpoint before doing a U-Turn.
The vehicle in question was then stopped just a few minutes later by another Garda unit, who found the driver was disqualified from driving.
Their vehicle was seized, with Gardaí saying they now face a court appearance also.
