A bumper crowd lined the Main Street in Letterkenny this afternoon for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in the town.
Thousands made their way to see the annual display of colourful floats and colourful characters make their way through the streets of the Cathedral Town – and to enjoy a few light and not-so-light beverages as well we’re sure.
Local community groups, bands, and some creative signs asking St Patrick to banish a few more “snakes” were the highlights of a fantastic day out.
A huge thanks to Joe Boland of Northwest NewsPix for parading through the streets with his camera to get these brilliant snaps!
