Young Castlefinn chef Adam’s cake sale for a sweet cause!

Castlefinn’s very own baking star, Adam Doherty, is hosting his 4th annual charity bake sale this Saturday 23rd March!

Adam, a second-year student at Finn Valley College, loves nothing more than to whisk up delicious treats to share with friends and family.

He is baking once again to raise funds for sick children at Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin & Temple Street – hospitals that hold a special place in his heart.

Adam’s older brother, Matthew, received life-saving care at both hospitals back in 2016 when he had a successful kidney transplant. Matthew attended both hospitals for 16 years and is now a happy and healthy 18-year-old.

“We are forever grateful for the help and care he received,” said Matthew’s parents, Joe and Louise Doherty.

To show his appreciation, Adam is whipping up a delectable spread of his homemade cupcakes and buns to sell at St. Mary’s Hall Castlefinn on Saturday 23rd March from 10am to 2pm.

This is his fourth charity cake sale, and it promises to be a delicious day out.

Come enjoy a cup of tea and some delicious treats, or grab some goodies to go – all for a great cause!
