Renowned Donegal chef Gary O’Hanlon is taking a swing at leading the restaurant at one of the most exclusive locations in the country.
The exclusive five-star resort, The K Club in Kildare also hosts one of Ireland’s most famous golf courses.
Chef O’Hanlon has been working at top-tier establishments for many years, spending a decade as the Head Chef at the award-winning Viewmount House in Longford, as well as most recently taking up the role as Executive Chef at the prestigious Château du Coudreceau residence in the Loire Valley in France in 2019.
On social media, he posted about his excitement at taking on the role at The K Club.
“Thrilled to announce that I’m going to be the new Executive Chef of @thekclub starting this week.”
“After 5 amazing years in the Loire Valley it’s time to come home and cook on Irish soil again. I’ve loved The K Club since I knew what a golf club was so I’m honoured and proud today.”
