Letterkenny Pharmacy Technician Clare O’Donnell has been chosen as this year’s ‘Donegal Mary’ in the Mary from Dungloe Festival.

The glamorous selection ceremony took place last night at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, where Clare impressed the judges and secured the coveted title.

The daughter of Iris and Gerard O’Donnell, Clare will now represent Donegal throughout the 57th annual Mary From Dungloe festivities.

Organisers expressed their gratitude to the Clanree Hotel for their hospitality, extending a special thanks to Antoinette Coyle, the general manager, and the entire staff. The judging panel comprised of David James, Fiona Elliott, and Jenni Gallagher, owner of FITPINK who generously donated a voucher for the winner.

This year’s Mary from Dungloe festivities take place from 27th July – 8th August 2024.
