Gardai in south Donegal have seized a car after discovering it had no valid tax, insurance, or NCT.

The car’s road tax was a staggering 1,483 days (four years) out of date.

The discovery was made in the Mountcharles area on Saturday, and the driver is now set to be fined and served with a court summons.

Highlighting the detection on Facebook, a garda spokesperson said: “Do not take to the roads unless your documentation is in order/up to date.”
